SUMMARY WEBINAR - 3D digitization National Heritage resources

Updated: Sep 8, 2023

The use of 3D technology abilities is becoming a daily practice in fields of science such as archeology and museology, which have recently dynamically entered the era of digitization. 3D scanning contributes to the popularization of human science achievements offering the possibility of creating virtual databases of exhibits and collections from excavations.

An additional advantage of creating a digital copy is that it will be preserved unchanged. The digital model is not susceptible to the influence of external factors and can be studied by several scientists at the same time without the risk of its damage.

A digital twin being a 3D exhibit in virtual museums is available not only for research but also is an interesting object available to every Internet user at any time.
